Join the NYU Entrepreneurial Institute at the Leslie eLab for a networking lunch from 12:00 – 2:00 PM ET to meet local investors and local entrepreneurs at NYU who are committed to advancing gender equality in entrepreneurship. Our guest speaker is Ashika Kalra (Stern ’14), First Round Capital, CEO and Founder of The Vidya Project, and co-author of Behind Her Vision: Women of New York City.

More about this month’s speaker:

Ashika Kalra is Chief of Staff at First Round Capital where she helps evaluate new investment opportunities and supports portfolio companies post-investment. Prior to First Round, she worked at the Zuckerberg Institute to help democratize access to entrepreneurial education for innovators around the world. Ashika also has a deep interest in public policy and launched a non-profit, The Vidya Project, focused on integrating action-oriented learning in classrooms across India and West Africa. She is currently a Global Shaper for the World Economic Forum and a graduate of NYU Stern School of Business and Columbia University’s School of International & Public Affairs.
