For over 40 years, the TRIO Scholar’s Program has been providing support to first-generation students at NYU Tandon.  Assisting students in achieving their highest level of excellence while nurturing their holistic development.

Before the start of the fall semester, TRIO hosts an orientation program called the F.I.R.S.T. (Formally Introducing Registered Students to the TRIO) Program for new TRIO freshmen. Students that attend are immersed in several college preparedness workshops and review sessions in 1^styear math and science course work. This year, during our luncheon event, we would like our students to get a better understanding of the various programs and opportunities available.
